how to change the encoding in de.ini

i want to change the encoding in de.ini to change the lang to arabic.

You would like TWLan to be arabic? I've been thinking of working together with Peter to translate it to Arabian. Please be patient Smile

I would set the encoding to Utf-8.
Then scan your templates and admin/templates folder for "<meta" (shouldn't be much more that 10 files) and change the "charset"-Attribute from "ISO-dont-know-what" to "Utf-8". (Else the letters would be displayed unreadable)

My modificated version (soon to be an official one?) is completely made UTF-8 compatible. if you're translating it, could you post a link or send it to me? I'll include it in my package.
