I would set the encoding to Utf-8.
Then scan your templates and admin/templates folder for "<meta" (shouldn't be much more that 10 files) and change the "charset"-Attribute from "ISO-dont-know-what" to "Utf-8". (Else the letters would be displayed unreadable)
