I had some free time today and i really wanted to test if it's true that ds-lan only works on php4, and i decided to install lighttpd(optimized http server) + eaccelerator + php5 for ds-lan.
I installed lighttpd,php5, then i compiled manually eaccelerator 0.9.5-rc1.
All worked well, untill i tried the game.
I was disapointed when i got
The zend version on the lighttpd server is 2.1.0 while on the released they have 1.3.0. I guess that all i have to downgrade my zend optimizer to 1.3.0, the problem is that i didn't found any sources for zend optimizer version 1.3.0, does any of you have it ?
I belive i can make ds-lan work on php5 too, if i could downgrade my zend optimizer version to 1.3.0.
If i'll be able to finish this, i'll show you how to make a ds-lan server with lighttpd (faster loads, and less ram usage, excelent for lan play).
